June activities in UP Mindanao

June 2016 in UP Mindanao is graduation month. The 19th Commencement Exercises will be on June 28, 7AM, at the Atrium, UP Mindanao, Mintal, Davao City. The Commencement Speaker is UP President Alfredo Pascual. The Send-off and Recognition Ceremonies in the colleges are on June 27.

In research, the Research Colloquium of on-going research projects is on its second day on June 7. The Research Skills Enhancement Training and Development of Emerging Interdisciplinary Research (EIDR) is on June 8-9.

In instruction, the MS Food Science degree program will be updated on June 20-21.

The radio program “Juan Diskoberi” with Prof. Ruth Gamboa and Kim Gargar will broadcast every Saturday in June, 10AM-12NN over Radyo ni Juan 783 kHz.

Literary writers will read their works at the Phil. Eagle Week Celebration on 8 June, 1pm, at SM City Davao Annex.

In alumni affairs, the UP Alumni Association Davao and the Horticultural Society will plant floral items at the campus Oblation Plaza on the occasion of the UP Foundation Day on June 18.
