Cleanliness is Next to Godliness

Before welcoming school chores, the children from Brgy 6-A gathered for the DDH Kids Summer Camp last May 27, 2016 at Brgy 6-A Bankerohan, Davao City. It was organized by the CSR team of Davao Doctors Hospital that aims to teach the children how to live and be like Jesus Christ. Ms. Cendy Bangod, head catechist of Immaculate Conception Parish of Mintal, taught the children in maintaining their love and respect to others especially to their family. She reminded them the importance of abiding the commandments of the Lord in order to attain happiness and fulfillment.

Also, the event became an avenue to educate the children to value health through teaching basic hand hygiene. Its purpose is to let the children know the importance of obtaining physical cleanliness every day. The children received hygiene kits that comprise toothpaste, toothbrush, tumbler, com, face towel, shampoo and soap. (Corrine Grace Casia)
