PPCRV’s – DACS Operation E-CHAMP launched at HCCC

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) in collaboration with the Davao Association of Catholic School, Inc. (DACS) launched the Operation E-CHAMP or Election Clean, Honest, Accurate, meaningful and peaceful at Holy Cross College of Calinan last March 2, 2016.

DACS Operation E-CHAMP was aiming (campaigning) to have volunteers that will work as poll watchers, voter’s assistant or as mobile communications volunteer. Fr. Archimedes Lachica, S.J., chairman of PPCRV, shared his story as a volunteer and talked about PPCRV’s volunteer program for this upcoming May 2016 Elections.

Miss Ma. Corazon C. Sunga, HCCC Basic Ed. Principal, conducted the voter’s education. Ms. Sunga shared the backgrounds of the 5 Philippine Presidential candidates for this 2016 elections. Jesille Jane Cajes, a Bachelor of Arts student said that the event was a great avenue to know and understand the platforms and what we are going to expect to whoever our next president will be. She also added that she would also willing to be a volunteer to PPCRV’s Operation E-CHAMP.

The program ended with the commitment signing with student and employee volunteers led by Sr. Lorna Murillo, p.m., Ph.D., School President, Mrs. Rolita Arguilla, Assistant Dean of College, Miss Ma. Corazon Sunga, BED Principal and Fr. Archimedes Lachica, chairman of PPCRV. (Van Anthony Quiamco)
