First Indigenous Peoples Apostolate (Youth) Scholar General Assembly

62 IP Youth, scholars of the Archdiocese of Davao through IP Apostolate, headed by Fr. Jun Acedo gathered this day for their 1st General Assembly. For the part of DAYCA we gave talk/activity on Personhood with the hope that our IP Youth will deepen their self-awareness, embrace their identity as Children of God, made in His image and likeness.

In their group sharing they were asked to share about their own story. Some said it was their first time to share their own life, and be proud of it. We encourage them to always see themselves as God sees them. There’s nothing to be ashamed of because despite human limitations and weaknesses, they are beautiful, they are loved, they are forgiven by the Mercy of God.
