Servant made to love

They say that God has a purpose for each and every individual on the planet, and they say that once you find out your own purpose in life, it is then that you become truly happy. Indeed! Have you ever met a man so dedicated to helping other people that he would set his needs apart just to be able to provide for others? One of those few men is Mr. Weng Torrejos of the Divine Mercy in My Soul Community.

Weng has dedicated most of his time into preaching the Word of God, fulfilling the works of Jesus Christ, and doing charity work. Aside from his pleasing personality, Weng also has a funny side. He has dedicated himself to serving the Divine Mercy in My Soul Community for 3 years now. He has been molded spiritually, not only by the works and teachings of Jesus Christ, but also by the Council of elders within his community.

According to Weng, ever since he has involved himself in the Community, his life has changed not just spiritually, but mentally and physically. “The Divine Mercy in my Soul Community, does not only preach the Word of God, the community also helps people in need. It has conducted a number of relief operations, medical missions, and feeding programs for the benefit of those who are desperately in need of help,” he added.

Weng who said that he has finally found the true meaning and purpose of his life assures that he will serve God for as long as he lives. “We are all recipients of God’s mercy, so we should always share it to others. We are not always made to understand everything in this world, but one thing is for sure, we were all made to love,” he ended. (Christense Geonzon)
