St. John Paul II launches “Kahayag” Fund-raising project

The St. John Paul II sub-parish of Inawayan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur has presently organized the project called “Kahayag ni Kristo, Kahayag Ko – Light A Star for the Child Jesus. It is a fund-raising project which aims to light at least five hundred Christmas lanterns at the ground of SJP II Sub-parish before the Christmas Eve on December 24.

The project is expected to complete the construction of the existing seminar hall which is used temporarily as a place of worship, as well as to increase the participation of the lay faithful and some of our benefactors and friends in gathering the needed funds to initially start the construction of the church building.

The organizers intend to invite individuals to sponsor a lantern at an amount of 1,000 pesos each. Sponsors will have the choice as to the quantity and color of lanterns to be lighted. (Julius R. Paner)
