GKK Nakadawat ug Ayuda Gikan sa Gobyerno

Gikalipay sa mga miyembro sa Artes de San Vicente (AdSV) sa GKK San Vicente ang pagdawat sa bag-o nga kagamitan isip suporta sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI XI) ug Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE XI) aron sa ilang livelihood project nga mao ang paghimo ug mga bags ug sanina, di pa lamang madugay.

Bisan pa man sa kawad-on sa kapital pang negosyo, ang pagtinabangay sa mga lumulupyo sa St. Vincent Heights Subdivision, hilabina sa mga out-of-school youth, senior citizens ug single mothers sukad niadtong tuig 2009 ang nakapadayon sa maong proyekto. Pinaagi sa Shared Service Facility (SSF) sa DTI, mas napalambo ang produksyon sa Artes de San Vicente.

Gikalipay sa kura paroko sa St. Francis of Assisi Quasi-Parish nga si Fr. Orlando Angelia, D.C.D. ang maong pakiglambigitay sa gobyerno ug sa Simbahan. “Nalipay kayo ko kay pwede diay ang Simbahan ug ang government agency mag partner in terms of serving the needs of the community, labi na karon to generate employment nga makatabang sa mga members dinhi.”

Mapasalamaton usab ang OIC-Assistant Regional Director sa DOLE XI nga si Jayson P. Balais sa oportunidad nga gihatag sa simbahan nga makaabot sa katawhan. Dungag pa sa DTI – Davao City Director Edwin O. Banquerigo, “This cannot be done by Artes alone. Dili pud ni pwede nga DTI ra. We’ve put our hands and hearts together, and this can be a model sa atong parokya.

Aduna’y 31 ka miyembro ang AdSV. Ang kinse niini mga batan-on nga ang benipisyaryo sa Youth Entrepreneurship Support (YES) sa DOLE. Sila padayon nga nagapalambo sa ilang kahanas pinaagi sa skills enhancement training sa Technical Educations and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Household Service Worker NC II certification.

“This is a gift, a treasure that they have to develop and they have to continue to propagate not just for them but for the community”, panapos ni Fr. Angelia. Siya nanghinaot nga sa sunod nga henerasyon, mapadayon ang pag tie-up sa gobyerno ug sa mga asosasyon sama sa Artes de San Vicente.
