Star-studded affair to re-open DXGN

ORGANIZERS of the fund raising campaign, Dinner for a Cause for the reopening of the only Catholic radio station in Davao, DXGN 89.9 Spirit FM, have lined up quality performers to entertain guests and sponsors on October 31, 2015, at the Mergrande Ocean Resort.

Main sponsor and prime mover Mr. Ernie Evangelista with daughter, Dr. April Evangelista, has commissioned Mr. Arnold Alvarez as artistic director to take charge of the program and artists to perform during the event with Mr. Armiel G. Baculna to arrange the repertoire.

Alvarez is the artistic director of the Siningtala Dance Company of Saint John Paul II College while Baculna is connected with Holy Cross of Davao College, Inc.

In a meeting held Monday, September 21, Alvarez revealed some of the members of the Diocesan Clergy of Davao such as Rev. Fr. Russell Bantiles and Rev. Fr. Jose Junar Dela Victoria among others will be performing with Talentadong Pinoy 2014 Champion Beatboxer Neil Rey Garcia Llanes.

Also in the lineup is Davao’s Champion during the latest Kadayawan sa Dabaw Tunog Mindanao original composition contest, Don Juan Baktas, and the Siningtala Dance Company.
