REMASE Honors ‘Pastor of Souls’

The St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary (REMASE) Mindanao celebrated the Rector’s Day last September 04. The annual event recognizes the office of the Rector in the seminary especially to the person appointed to this office, Rev. Msgr. Abel C. Apigo, PC. He presided the Holy Mass to open it.

The Rector’s Cup was played by five competing year levels (PTY, T1, T2, T3, and T4). Composed of 21 games such as Cheering, Basketball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, Word Factory, Chess, and others, the Catechist (T2) was proclaimed as the Champion. It was a grand slam for them since they won in the seminary’s Golden Cup (2013-2014), Jubilee Day for the Seminarians (2014-2015), and the Rector’s Day (2015-2016). Songs, dances, and drama presentations from the seminarians and from the seminary workers capped the day’s affair. (Sem. Ritzchild Cariaga)
