DDC inks MOA with WES to assist the Reading Center

School officials of Davao Doctors College (DDC) and Wireless Elementary School (WES) forged a memorandum of agreement aimed at giving assistance to the library reading center of WES on June 4, 2015.

The two-page MOA was signed by the President and CEO of Davao Doctors College, Miguel D. Soledad and the Principal of WES, Dr. Marcelino Cabana Jr., as witnessed by other school officials of the two institutions.

The agreement emphasizes the manning of the WES library center every other Friday of the month by selected DDC Library Staff on a rotation basis. The staff will conduct services to the pupils of WES, such as story-telling, book-talking and the like. These activities are meant to develop among the pupils an appreciation of the library and its reading resources. Davao Doctors will also undertake future improvements at the reading center.

Dr. Estela R. Dequito, DDC Chief Librarian, initiated this project with the support of the DDC administration.
