15-minute power interruptions on July 11

Davao Light and Power Co. will implement 15-minute switching power interruptions on July 11, from 3:00 a.m. to 3:15 a.m. and from 6:45 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., affecting customers connected to its Victoria Feeder 1, and Ecoland Feeder 2.

Rossano C. Luga, Corporate Communications Officer, said that the switching of loads will be necessary to avoid longer power interruption during the relocation of poles along Bacaca road to facilitate DPWH’s road widening project and DCWD’s upgrading works.

Customers affected by these service disruptions are those along J.P. Laurel Avenue from El Bajada Hotel going to Redemptorist Church and from Bacaca corner Diversion road up to underpass in Milan Buhangin. Areas along Maa road going to Magtuod and to Monteritz and from Las Terrazas to Langub will also be affected by these power interruptions.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience of these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
