Shame or Ignorance
We have gone on as a nation for several years. Yet people still complain of unfinished projects. The need is sincerity in intention. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
It could be that people ignore the mechanics of finality. Finis est super omnia, say the Latins (meaning, the aim should be above all). If all our projects follow this, we would have a better standard of life. Only we seem to have some inverted sense of values, like placing the cart before the horse. Even the famous organizer R. Townsend said: “Money, like prestige, if sought directly, is almost never gained. It must come as a by-product of some worthwhile objective or result which is sought and achieved for its own sake.”
Christ was clearest: “Seek ye first God’s kingship and the implementation of his law, and the rest shall be added unto you. Do not even worry of tomorrow. It will take care of itself. Enough for everyday is its own problem” (Mt. 6:33-34).
