OLLP ends summer with 2 activities

The Our Lady of Lourdes Parish culminated summer with two meaningful affairs. The Pangulo sa Pagpanudlo, led by PSP Coordinator Elenita Biag and Parish Head Catechist Beberly Alcayde, ended their Flores de Mayo last May 30, 2015.

Themed, “Birhen Maria Inahan ug Dalangpanan sa Tanan Ilabina sa mga Kabus,” the culminating celebration started with a Holy Eucharist officiated by the OLLP Parish Priest Fr. Dexter Veloso, DCD.

The traditional Santacruzan was paraded with Chloe Novo stood as the Reyna Elena with her young beautiful cohorts children representing different parish GKKs.

Winners for Bible Quiz and Marian Quiz were also awarded for Lechen A. Ma from the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary GKK who won the Bible Quiz and Maxeen Lourd Faith P. Garcia of the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament who won the Marian Quiz.

More than two hundred GKK children enjoyed the culmination with full of learning, funs, games and prizes.

Meanwhile, the OLLP PREX Batch 8 ended their three-day seminar held at the pastoral office last May 29-31, 2015, sponsored by the OLLP PREX Batch 7, led by Ate Marlyn Lallen and Ate Thelma Bernasor. Spearheaded by the Calinan PREX and assisted by Panacan PREX and Sta. Ana PREX, the 23 graduates were acknowledged by the OLLP PREX Steering Committee Assistant Coordinator Kuya Al Rabanes. The PREX Formators from the Sacred Heart Parish of Calinan, led by Ate Lechu Tan and Ate Lydia Malot, also received Certificates of Appreciation from the OLLP PREX signed by its Steering Committee Coordinator Kuya Ruben Sumagang and OLLP Parish Priest Kuya Far.
