Si Sr. M. Odilia Tan, OSB ug Sr. M. Dawn Marie Magallon, OSB nagsaulog sa ilang 25 ka tuig o Silver Jubilee isip pagkamadre. Ang selebrasyon gitambungan sa ilang pamilya, higala, mga relihiyoso, ug uban pa sa Benedictine Chapel, Ulas, Davao City, Mayo 23. Sumala ni Sr. Magallon malipayon kaayo siya og mapasalamaton sa Dios alang sa iyang 25 ka tuig nga monastic life. Nagpasalamat usab siya sa iyang kongregasyon ug sa iyang pamilya na misuporta kaniya. Midugang si Sr. Tan nga siya malipayon pud. Wa siya magdahom nga makaabot siya niini nga yugto. Sumala niya dili sayon, apan malipayon kaayo siya. Adunay salo-salo paghuman sa misa isip pasalamat nilang duha sa gasa sa suporta. (Kiana Charmaine Tan)

50 Years for a Pink Sister

Sr. Mary Therese of the Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration, known as the Pink Sisters, commemorated her Golden Jubilee in religious life at the Holy Spirit Adoration Chapel, May 21.

Msgr. Paul Cuison, JCD presided the Holy Eucharist. He emphasized that religious life is considered as a radical way in following Christ especially that of the contemplatives. He recognized the generosity of the nun in giving up the lures of the world for the love of Christ and Church. Pink Sisters, whose whole lives are spent in adoring the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament can be considered as contemplative-missionary of the Church. Said celebration was attended by Sr. Therese’s family, relatives, and friends. (Ritzchild Cariaga)
