Sweet Magnificakes
“Run if you feel like running, play music in your head when there is none, and eat cake like it’s the only one left in the world”. – C. JoyBell
We can’t deny the fact that cakes and other pastries are in demand these days. We like them as desserts. That’s why many among business associates choose to invest their money in this kind of business. One of those are the couple behind the opening of KC’s Magnificakes Café in Davao.
Former teacher Kristin Tagle and cake decorator boyfriend Loreto Puton decided to open it. They wanted people to feel happy through eating good food. They believe that homemade or home cooked food makes people glad. That’s how they want to spread the good news. “Para sa akin, ito yung line ng work namin at saka our family loves to cook. We are family of cooks,” Kristin added.
Hands-on entrepreneurs, they started it as an online business via Facebook. From the original name “Magnificakes Davao,” they changed it to KC’s Magnificakes Café to serve multiple orders and accommodate more costumers through dining. “Magnificakes” is a combination of “magnificent” and “cake.” Anyone who’ll celebrate wedding, birthday, and other occasions, KC’s Magnificakes offers a wide array of personalized, delicious and beautifully-designed cakes.
KC’s Magnificakes opened at Door 26 & 27, San Pedro Ext. Moonbeem Residence Compound, last April 21, 2015. All kinds of cupcakes are sold at P12.00 excluding hot dishes and beverages. Savor the sweetness at Magnificakes. (Kiana Charmaine Tan | Cylyne Mhar Alforque)
