Serra Club Of Davao Attends Serra Philippines 25th National Convention (Part 1 of 2)

More than 120 Serrans of Serra Clubs of Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cotabato, Davao, Makati, M’Lang, Ozamiz, Tudela, Tuguegarao were welcomed by Serra Club of Tagum, as host of the Serra International-Serra Philippines 25th National Convention held in BIG 8 Corporate Hotel in Tagum City, April 10-12, 2015.
The delegation from Serra Club of Davao headed by Pres. Norma J. Tuballa was supported by its members: PDG Celsa H. Banes, Gregorio R. Magnaye, Alvin P. Babista, PP Luna P. Dacudao, PP Reynaldo B. Sazon, PP Anita F. Catotal, PP Vicente R. Banes, Jr., PP Maria Julieta R. Torres, PP Noni D. Delgado, Serran Rosario C. Lizada, Serran Rosario C. Magnaye, Serran Marietta V. Sazon, Serran Nenita C. Lim and Serran Luzviminda M. Delgado.
Serra International, The Global Lay Apostolate for Vocations in the Catholic Church was named in honor of Junipero Serra, a Spanish Franciscan friar who founded a mission in Baja California, and the first nine of 21 Spanish missions in California from San Diego to San Francisco.
Fr. Serra was beatified by Pope John Paul II on September 25, 1988.
