Mariapolis 2015

THEMED as “Eucharist: Mystery of Communion,” this year’s Mariapolis (City of Mary) was entitled, “Infinite Love of God.” This annual event of the Focolare Movement was founded by Chiara Lubich, a primary school teacher in France way back in 1986.

The organization is composed of families that aim to develop the love of God among them, and deepen their relationships as one. Chosen family members shared their experiences especially about evangelization.

St. Francis Xavier College Seminarian Leonard Jay Rabuya said that he has matured in faith and understood the meaning of evangelization. He is looking forward for the next Mariapolis to have exposure with street children. The participants were thankful and hoping that the event will be attended by more members next year.
