Flores-ready Kaputian catechists enjoyed summer sun

“Katekista, sama sa usa ka parola, nga mag-iway sa kangitngitan”

On the feast of St. Mark, 65 Pangulo sa Pagpanudlo (PSP) of Sto. Niño Parish, Kaputian IGACOS, celebrated life and fostered unity. It was started with the mass presided Fr. Rico Enriquez.

In his homily, he emphasized the great role of the catechist in the evangelization especially to the children and youth in the Gagmay’ng Kristohanong Katilingban (GKKs) and schools. He appreciated the self-giving and dedication of the catechists in the service of the Church. After the mass came the showcase of talents and parlor games.

Said celebration was in honor of the catechists who enjoyed the company of their colleagues. This 2nd year gathering is composed of all catechists from Talicud Island and Kaputian district. (Ritzchild Cariaga)
