The Graduation Month of April
THERE are three signs that April is here: The observance of the Holy week. Second: The unbeatable heat. Third: The blow-outs and parties for the graduates. It is encouraging that many secular/non-sectarian schools now make a part of their graduation program religious thanksgiving activities.
Hopefully, by the end of this decade, giving thanks and praise to the almighty will become an indispensible part of the program for activities of all schools. Indeed, the schools, the parents, the students, the Kinder, Elementary, High school, College and Technical Institute graduates have a lot to be thankful for.
Students should always remember the tremendous sacrifices of their parents so they can go to school. As a sign of gratitude, students should concentrate on their studies and make their parents happy and proud by passing their subjects. The parents and their children should also bear in mind the daily efforts of the teachers and the school administrations.
Taken together, we are fulfilling God’s plan that we must have good, obedient, diligent, and God fearing children. The Lord will always be with us in everything we will do for our children. And now, let us enjoy the merry months of summer especially Flores de Mayo festival.
