Al, ilang gipasibaw ang ilahang mga pagbati sama niini: “spiritually enriching and refreshing; joy in sharing experiences during the seminary days and now as laymen; helped us come back to the Lord and the Church in prayer and involvement; camaraderie rekindled; the retreat is a good prelude to the observance of the Lenten season.”
IHMA celebrates Peace and Foundress’ 150th birth anniversary—The whole academic family of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy (IHMA) celebrated the “Stand for PEACE with the REJECTION of All Kinds of VIOLENCE” in solidarity with all peace-loving men and women on March 6, 2015, as special focus of their First Friday Mass, under the platform of the ALL OUT PEACE MOVEMENT (AOPM), involving our country, homes, communities, workplaces, and the world. AOPM decided that March 6 be declared as the National Day towards Healing for Unity and Peace, which also coincided with the 40th day of the Mamasapano incident. At IHMA, the celebration of the Holy Eucharist was presided by Apostolic Administrator Fr. Edito Baño, who highlighted several Biblical experiences towards healing for unity and peace. Everyone also recited the Rosary for peace, viewed a video clip on peace and witnessed the burning of pictures of violence by selected students to symbolize their outward rejection of violence.
IHMA also celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of MOTHER DELIA TETREAULT, MIC, Foundress of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (MIC) on February 4, 2015.
