Healing Priest to visit Davao
The Filipino Catholic healing priest, Fr. Fernando Suarez, is about to visit Davao City on February 19.
The coming of the priest is in connection with the celebration of the World Day of the Sick and the Year of the poor. A mass will be conducted on the same day at 7:30PM in San Pablo Parish, Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao City.
GKK, catechists, lay ministers, youth volunteers and the disaster team of the church will be invited to keep the peace and maintain the order during the healing mass. The expected number of people to come is more or less than 1,000 individuals.
“Personally, I am expecting that people will see the image of Christ through the presence of Fr. Suarez, not just to witness but to share the good deeds of God,” said Erick Hernadez, Social Action member of San Pablo Parish, when asked about his expectation on the coming of the healing priest.
This will be the second time for Fr. Suarez to visit San Pablo Parish. (Ivy Marcos/Jackelyn Bayaton)
