Workshop on Integrated Marketing Communication set

Davao City, Philippines – UPTrend Events will hold the first ever seminar-workshop on Integrated Marketing Communication in Davao City on December 12 – 13, 2014. The event is set to take place in Green Heights Business and Convention Center, Diversion Rd., Buhangin, Davao City.
#IMCDavao is the first effort coming from the 4th year B.A. Communication Arts of the University of the Philippines Mindanao in the aim to introduce the use of IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) in the field of marketing, brand positioning and advocacy advertising.

The upcoming ASEAN integration is looming and IMC is an important endeavor for the Philippines to take its rightful place in the Global market. In the coming years, Philippines will be in an even greater position to receive the product of economic progress. It will affirm its place in an increasingly challenging and competitive global economy. Great beginnings start with small steps. There is so much potential for the Philippines and even for Davao City. With the introduction of IMC, we can make this bright future possible.” Nicole Kathryn Go, President of UPTrend Events, said.

The event will cater students coming from different colleges and universities which offer communication, business and marketing courses in Davao City.

#IMCDavao will be first of its kind. The event will feature experienced icons in the field of Integrated Marketing Communication to talk about the latest trends in the field of communications and marketing. “Through the upcoming #IMCDavao event, we hope to interest the students not only in learning about IMC as a tool for communication and marketing but we hope to interest the students in taking part in a vision of a greater Davao city and in a vision of a greater Philippines” President Go added.
