Bangkal parish renewed 2-year pastoral plan

Fifty key lay leaders of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish convened at the Pearl Farm, IGACOS, last August 2-3, and drafted a new 2-year pastoral plan for the years 2014-2016.

Vonz Hijada presented the 2-year program for the Formation Ministry, while Vicky Macaday lined up the matrices for the Service Ministry, and Marilyn Lallen showed the collated plans for the Worship Ministry.

The Parish Finance Council also laid down their presentation for parish financial concerns and strategies.  PFC Coordinator Atty. Marisue Llanes explained the details of the finance program as preluded by Dr. Ma. Iris Melliza, while the plan schemes for the finishing of the Pastoral Building and for the construction of the Church ceiling were presented by Engr. Gloria Cabillas.

The entire proceeding was facilitated by PPC Coordinator Nestor Fruto.  It started with a liturgical salvo and a brief rationale and guidelines for planning were read by Alice Lancian.

The entire activity was prepared and documented by the PPC Secretary Vicky Bajo. The 2-day activity was culminated with a meaningful Holy Eucharist officiated by the OLLP Parish Priest Father Dexter Veloso who was overwhelmed by the success of the activity.  Father Veloso reminded the leaders to ensure that all activities of the respective apostolate should always be in accordance to and must be associated with the annual theme of the new era of evangelization.  Father Veloso also revealed his plan for the completion of the Church construction which was encored by all PPC members.  The final draft of this new 2-year plan for OLLP is expected to be revealed and be launched on August 24, 2014.
