Divine Providence

The Lord, our loving Father above, has promised us and does take care of us in many of our various necessities.  He has promised so especially for those committed to His service.  “Then Peter said, What about us?  We have left all we have to follow you.  Jesus said to them, ‘I tell you solemnly, there is no one who has left house, wife, brothers, parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God who will not be given repaymet in return many times over in this present time and, in the world to come, eternal life’. (Lk. 18:29-30).”

Surely God repays us for the sacrifices we make for His name and for His kingdom.  It is a kind of marvelous substitution that the Lord works for those who do some generous service to promote and live the teachings and truths of Jesus, Our Savior.
