Society of Divine Vocations has three new deacons

The Society of Divine Vocations (SDV) has three new deacons ordained, March 19.

Archbishop Romulo G. Valles ordained Rev. Oliver Maningo from Talicud Island, Rev. John Villarete from Tandag, Surigao del Sur and Rev. Adrien Tahiana Andriamanana from Madagascar, held at the San Isidro Labrador Parish, Catalunan Grande, Davao City.

The archbishop thanked the SDV for their contribution to the missionary works of the Church as he also lauded Rev. Maningo for being a contribution of the Archdiocese of Davao to the SDV and to the mission.

Abp. Valles also lauded the Society of Divine Vocations for bringing in the leaders of their congregation coming from different countries in order to attend the rite of ordination.

Meanwhile, Rev. Maningo and Rev. Villarete were ordained prior to their graduation in St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary. They are part of the 13 4th Year Theology seminarians who graduated last March 20.
