REMASE Hosted Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

The Saint Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary of Mindanao hosted the third day of the weeklong Davao City Celebration of the “Week Of Prayer For Christian Unity 2014” last Thursday, February 20, 2014, with the Theme: “Has Christ Been Divided?”

It was presided over by Seminary Rector, Msgr. Abel C. Apigo, assisted by Fr.Bill Larousse, Professor of Missiology and Ecumenism and participated by Seminary Formators, Seminarians, Pastors of different Christian Groups and other guests.

Among the sharers were : Rev. Roger Lofranco, Pastor of the United Church of Christ in the Phililippines, Rev. May C. Casada of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines and Fr. Vic A. Polestico of the Cathedral of the Risen Lord, Iglesia Filipina Independiente.

The Head of the Archdiocesan Center for Ecumenical And Interreligious Dialogue (ACEID), Rev. Fr. Pete Lamata also gave a short sharing.

A simple dinner and fellowship followed after the Worship Service.
