“A volunteer leader’s personal passion for the group’s mission is contagious and it motivates.”  – John M. Knibb

We have already honored our employees (former) in the celebration of our 60th anniversary last year.  This time, we honor our volunteers  whose passion is contagious and is  motivating for the media apostolate’s mission.

Cheryl A. Vilog
Research and Database

As coordinator of the Research and Database Ministry, Cheng responds to her mission through sustained hard work and committed dedication.  Even with her academic success, leadership talent and vast achievements in the Social Communications and Mass Media Apostolate, her humility and generosity remains unspoiled.

With a grateful heart, Cheng continues to tirelessly give back to those who have significantly played a role in helping her achieve her dreams.  The character of obedience embodies Cheng’s commitment in serving the Lord God: “I am a servant of God who tries to become obedient in doing His will in thoughts, words and deeds.”

Mary Nikki Masinadiong
Research and Database

Blessed with a talent for numbers and artistry in sewing dresses and bags, Nikki is a source of creativity and hard work.  She actively contributes her time and skills to help strengthen the Social Communications and Mass Media Apostolate as a volunteer member of the Research and Database Ministry.

Nikki’s smiling disposition reflect the joy and comfort experienced by one who truly loves serving the Lord God: “I am happy to be one of the volunteers, being a servant of God in my little way either in Church or in my everyday life.  I’m trying to live as a good servant of God through my work and dealings with the people I meet every day.”

Jecy B. Opada
Social Media/Kalakbay

With a sincere goal to impart his skills in Journalism and use of Social Media, Jecy’s noble intention is to evangelize through his participation in the Social Communications and Mass Media Apostolate and membership in the Social Media Ministry.

Jecy’s immersion goes as far as being a news writer and managing editor with experience in teaching and training.  He believes that service is a treasure from God who is all merciful and loving: “I am a servant who is a recipient of God’s great mercy and love bestowed with gifts that are worth using for God’s glory.”

Currently, Jecy is the Editor-in-Chief of DAYCA Kalakbay, our official youth corner.

Perry Paul G. Lamanilao
Social Media Ministry

A volunteer being the Coordinator  of the Social Media Ministry of the Social Communications and Mass Media Apostolate, Perry enjoys being actively involved in social media, sales, marketing, events and promotions.

With related interests in travelling and surfing the internet, Perry levels up his stewardship as he moves on further to enhance and share his skills and talents by serving the Lord God: “I’m being humbled every day by serving God and His people.  While seeing the overflowing blessings around me, I can do nothing but pay it forwards.  While I have breath, I will continue to love and serve God and the Church.”
