Boholano Priests Sing in Davao

“Amazing! Oh my God! Wow!”, the words you heard from the mouth of every parishioners of Immaculate Conception Parish – Mintal during the concert-for-a-cause  of The JEDUTHUN: The Singing Boholano Priests last March 23, 2014. The five singing Boholano priests are all from the Archdiocese of Talibon. They showcased a high magnitude of talent in singing and dancing to raise fund for the restoration of the parishes destroyed by the magnitude 7 to 8 earthquake last October 15, 2013. They performed different genres of music and dedicated also to our new Filipino Saint – Saint Pedro Calungsud. The most exciting and one of my favorite part of the show was when the singing priests sung the music of Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and other known pop music artists. And of course, they never forgot to include in their tracks some of our famous Tagalog and Visayan songs.

The Jeduthun: Singing Boholano Priests was indeed an example of how we must appreciate and use every gift of talent given to us by our almighty God. In many ways, we can use such gifts to help our brothers and sisters who are in need. As member of this big Christian family, let us all pray for our Singing priests that may they have a safe trip as they meander around the world to spread such talent and help more people especially to our countrymen.
