VDLR Gives Tribute to Superlola & Superlolo

Virgen De Los Remedios Parish in Crossing Bayabas, Toril, Davao City celebrates their 3rd Parochial Fiesta to honour and give thanks to the Holy Virgin, February 2, 2014.

One of the highlights of the celebration is The CoronationCeremony  “A Cultural Show, A tribute to the SUPERLOLA & SUPERLOLO 2014”. Lolos & Lolas from different schools and community groups participate in this event. By their intermission numbers, parishioners from Districts 1 to 5 showed and shared their talents.

Rev. Fr. Johnny Autida, Parish Priest opened the ceremony by giving the overview and words of welcome and gratitude to all guests and participants. Most Rev. Romulo Valles, Archbishop of Davao, also inspired attendees with his words and personal presence.

The highlight in this ceremony was the giving of trophies and the coronation to the winners held last January 31, 2014, at St. Peter’s College of Toril Auditorium. The 2nd runner –up is  Lola Susieta Toledo & Lolo German Catague, 1st runner-up Lola Jessie & Lolo Anecito Bonjoc and the Super Lola & Super Lolo 2014 Grand Winner is Lola Catalina & Lolo Amado Eguia. The lightning of the candle of her majesty Lola & Lolo, 2014 and the Royal Dance followed.
