As Christmas nears

The world keeps remembering and recalling that glorious moment of our Savior’s birth many years ago. We hear the children gladly singing the melodies of Christmas, repeating those songs all over the world. No wonder, because Jesus came to bring us liberation and freedom from the enslavement to sin and false values.

Yes, we hear the glad songs of Christmas from the voices of innocent children who render honor and homage to the Christ Child being born into our earthly world to bring us hope and salvation. You will surely understand this phenomenon only when you realize that Christ’s birth was to bring us love, forgiveness and salvation by being open to love one another the way He requires us to do. He was born and died for love of us and He wants us to do so for one another. That should be the reason why we gladly celebrate Christmas in the years of our lives. It bears a message of love and forgiveness.
