Bangkal parish sets meaningful yuletide activities

The Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bangkal starts its GKK Misa de Gallo. Parish Priest Father Dexter Veloso encouraged the celebration of Misa de Gallo to all parish GKKs aside from the main parish church. This is to bring the Spirit of Christmas Season to GKK level.

To add color to this year’s Yuletide Season, the OLLP Parish Finance Council announced the ‘Light Your Lantern’ project. The parish is accepting donations of Php1000 to light one star and Php350 to light one lantern. There are 100 stars and 200 lanterns allotted for generous donors.

As of press time, many stars and lanterns are already lighted, and donors are still welcome for more blessings this season. Proceeds of this project will go for the rehabilitation of parish public comfort room for church goers.

Meaningful celebrations were really felt in the parish this Yuletide Season as the OLLP also marked the 13th Sacerdoral Anniversary of Parish Priest Father Dexter Veloso. The parishioners are truly blessed for having Father Veloso as Parish Priest who is very GKK-oriented. His charism is manifested in the expression of the parishioners as the Kasaulogan sa Pulong in every GKK maintains an average attendance of 30-50 laities attending.
