Worldwide Realities

Who of you know or heard about stem cells? It seems it does wonders to make oneself look young and healthy, but is it really effective and promises to be young forever? Who of you enjoy singing for hours in front of a videoke, or sweating in front of a big mirrored room on a stationary bike or on a treadmill or do yoga figures inside a huge gym to just burn the calories in your body? Who of you enjoy dancing in a party or simply chatting with your closest friends? These are some pleasurable moments we use to do, right? Others have some fun entertaining their love ones by throwing a party or cooking their favorite dishes. Others indulge eating voraciously in a buffet restaurant or possibly drinking and smoking. Other individuals use their time to read self help books or novels that would somehow make their whole day complete. Our world is full of positivity. Yes, lots of us are so much concern of our environment, just like restoring the forest and the filthy water in the rivers and seas. On the contrary, there are also people who destroy the beauty of nature, and others create negativity that easily contaminates those who do not have a stand on creating an ambience of goodness. There are also others who can run errands to buy something but do not return the change. For sure that act is the beginning of corruption. Women who never think twice in destroying any,lives slowly, taking aside on the side effects of contraceptives. There are also persons who pleasurably, wallow themselves in their vices, thinking that those vices can fill in their empty and searching hearts. Which later on can also lead to immorality.

According to experts, that if we allow ourselves to be connected with God, He guides us to become better persons; one is, through praying. We communicate with Him and if we are sensitive of His graces and blessings, those are His abundant ways of answering our needs everyday despite of our being sinful. Through the different events we encounter, be it joyful or sorrowful are situations that measure our connection with Him. They are the stumbling blocks that enable us to pause a while if we choose to continuously hold on to Him.

It is important that we see God in everything so that we will not be blinded by the ways of the devil. Beautifying ourselves is not bad at all, but if we are so obsessed of staying beautiful is another story. Staying all the time in your comfort zones without sharing yourself in your community is a big thumbs down. Being extravagant and spending much of your resources on useless things is such a headache, because when time comes that you do not have any, you can not buy anything because you got no more money. Being swayed with whatever you see from the media is not always a promise of becoming in or out, being updated in all discoveries and technologies would not guarantee you to reach heaven neither believing the principles of the politicians would perhaps make you rich would just end up to a disgrace. A dysfunctional family just like parents who always fight with so many reasons distort the little minds of their siblings and later on would cause much problem if they become disobedient, rebellious and a lot more and worst if they could not find time to see and feel God in their lives.

These are some scenarios in the realities of our world today. Looking at every detail of the situations be it positive or negative, you exactly know what are the ways of God, because His ways always create unity and love. With the disaster that the calamities had brought us, may the physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration, within us give us more faith, hope and love. Do not allow yourselves to believe in false hopes that would cause division because those are the snares of the devil. Through His son Jesus, we will be united with Him. Mother Mary and all the saints specially our Mother Foundress of Hijas de Jesus Congregation, St. Candida Ma.de Jesus are one among the sagas, on how we can be faithful to our God. By praying unceasingly, attending the holy eucharist, praying the holy rosary, asking forgiveness through the sacrament of reconcillation are one of the examples to be one with Him. I know that as a Catholic you will agree with me,right?

As the saying goes, “the family that Prays together stays together”.
