Caritas Davao Foundation: Recipient of Golfers’ Charity

Davao City- October 11, 2013– The Caritas Davao Foundation of the Archdiocese of Davao, is a charitable institutional arm providing assistance for indigent parishioners. It has 27 active parish Caritas within the diocese giving out medical aid, food for the hungry programs, disaster relief assistance and formation programs. It promotes, initiates, encourages, assists, and carries out projects to give relief to the poorest of the poor, evacuees, victims of calamities, and the sick. This year it is the recipient of the donation from the POGIBOYS, Inc. – a group of golfers that express their charities and concern for the poor through the Caritas Davao Foundation.
