The Call to Holiness

“Strengthening Stewardship of Vocations on the Year of Faith”—This was the theme of the Concert for Vocations featuring the St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary (REMASE) Seminarians which was led by the Vocation Committee of the Family and Life Ministry of the Ascension of the Lord Parish last September 21, 2013 at the GSIS covered court, Matina, Davao City.

Surprisingly great talents, remarkable experiences, and overflowing joy were shared;and according to REMASE Rector, Msgr. Abel Apigo, it was the first time for the seminarians to perform outside the seminary and he was very delighted for the success of the concert.

Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Leonardo “Bong” Dublan, Jr. said that it was a wonderful way to promote awareness of the importance of vocations to the people. “Vocation is the fundamental expression of being stewards of God’s love,” Fr. Dublan added.

Priesthood, religious life, marriage, or single blessedness, everyone is called for something; the universal call to holiness—vocation. Continue to serve with love and answer God’s call as happiness shall come if one follows it truly.
