22 Years of Blessings from Mama Mary

Having been just diagnosed with lung cancer Stage 4, and given 3-6 months to live because of the aggressiveness of my lung tumor, I had only one recourse – seek a miracle of healing from heaven.
On my flight to Manila in September 1991 for a second opinion, I was providentially seated next to the replica of Our Lady of Akita which was being brought from place to place in the Philippines then. During the flight, after having prayed very intently for a healing miracle through Her intercession, I was so filled with peace and comfort when I saw the image giving me a distinct smile as I looked at her when the plane was descending. My friend Aida also saw our Lady’s image smiling.
I knew in my heart that Our Lady of Akita guided me to a very warm, skilled and knowledgeable doctor who treated me using naturapathic medicine.
I was doubly blessed that a month and a half after being seated next to Her, my husband Ding’s best friend who is a Japanese Buddhist made it possible for me to pray on October 1991 in Akita, Japan before the wooden image of our Lady, known and documented to have shed fresh tears of blood several times in recent years. Again, I felt our Lady’s hand upon me and blessing me with a peaceful heart because of the knowledge that I have been healed.
Less than a week after my visit to Akita, the US doctors were dumbfounded to discover that my lung tumor regressed to a mere blood clot, and that my two ribs which previously showed signs of metastasis, were normal-looking again. They have never seen such a phenomenon. I was given a clean bill of health after an open lung surgery to remove the collapsed dead lung tissues.
It has been twenty-two years ago when Our Lady of Akita interceded for this second life I live now.
