Kuya Alvin Olaer, coordinator of the Formation Ministry briefly explained the purpose of the said gathering while the head cathechist Sis Jerlyn Moranta elaborated its objectives. The parish priest, Fr. Jhun Gimeno further stressed in his speech that this activity is done in response to the call of the bishop to gather data based on the current situations of the GKKs in the entire diocese of Davao and re-validate the data collated in 2009.

After the inputs given by Bro. Joel Reyes and Seminarian Rusty Corsame, the delegation was divided into 22 teams for the group dynamics. Each team must have 1 facilitator and a secretary. A follow-up orientation for the facilitators and secretaries will be on August 18, 2013 while the final phase of the BEC parish-wide gathering is scheduled on August 25, 2013. Fr.
