PTY Seminarians invested to wear cassock

Seventeen Pre-theology Year (PTY) seminarians coming from the Archdiocese of Davao (10), Dioceses of Tagum(3), Mati(1) and Kidapawan (3) had their investiture last June 16, 2013 at St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary of Mindanao (REMASE) chapel.

The said investiture was done within the celebration of the Holy Eucharist presided by Msgr. Abel Apigo, Rector of REMASE, at the same time the one who invested the seminarians.

The rite of investiture is done to officially let the seminarians wear the cassock in every liturgical celebration within and without the seminary.

The cassock would serve as a visible sign of one’s willingness to do the will of God in the service of His people.

The St. Francis Xavier Pre-theology Year has 40 seminarians coming from the different archdioceses and dioceses of Mindanao. (@dcherald)
